Published by admin on

The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Cybersecurity internship is specifically designed to fill the need for cybersecurity professionals in the US DoD and was created by a partnership between the NIWC Pacific & Atlantic, the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), US cybersecurity industry partners, and the University of Hawaiʻi.

This annual cybersecurity internship started at KapCC and has grown to support all 10 campuses in the UH system.
The top performing students completing Phase I of this internship will be offered the chance to participate in Phase II, which includes a chance for a security clearance and employment with the NIWC.
Please come join us on April 12th 11am at the University of Hawaii at Manoa at the POST building room 318b. Senator Mazie Hirono will be there to recognize the work that has been put into cybersecurity in Hawaii.
