Mission Statement

ISC2 Hawaii strives to educate, empower, embrace and engage the community in cyber.

ISC2 Hawaii is a nonprofit with the mission to provide the State of Hawaii with cybersecurity education and networking. Our mission is to propel the cybersecurity sector forward through furnishing resources, bolstering support, and facilitating networking events for students, professionals, and community members throughout the islands. We aim to equip individuals with the expertise and capabilities essential for safeguarding their digital realms and communities, fostering a safer, more resilient digital environment for all in Hawai‘i.

We aim to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. Through networking events, and outreach to schools and colleges, we seek to encourage young people to pursue careers in cybersecurity. By fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, we hope to create a thriving cybersecurity community in Hawaii that will lead the way in developing new technologies and strategies to combat cyber threats.

Our mission is to create a safer, more secure digital world for everyone in Hawaii. We believe that cybersecurity is not just a technical issue, but a social and ethical one as well. By promoting cybersecurity education, inspiring the next generation of cybersecurity leaders, connecting the community, and advocating for ethical and responsible use of technology, we hope to create a brighter future for Hawaii and beyond.
